First day that the dinosaurs roam alongside all the animals here in the Melaka Zoo. Yes, Melaka Zoo is a nice place to be for families. It’s clean enough, small enough and friendly enough. Food and drinks are also NOT monopolised and the prices are also comparable to outside the zoo. They also do not force you to open your bag to be checked for potential food smuggling. Trust system works here. I think the staffs also have good motivation too.
Just look at their Facebook page for some clues (click here). Lots of continuous postings and lots of little animals to see too. Meanwhile the below would be some of the dinosaur and animal photos for everyone to view and later dropping by for a visit.
The rest below are all from my visit today. As usual, my kids enjoyed it thoroughly as they do like animals and they do not have full day access to smartphone / tablet. Total average time they have access to handphone / tablet? Maximum is an hour a day. Both my wife and I are very strict on this, so too bad for them (my daughter and son), unlike many of their friends who’s on smartphone day in and day out.
Do have a look at the photos and if you think your kids would enjoy and you need a family outing day where the kids ask you a lot of questions about animals, this is the place to visit.
Here’s their FB page again. Nope, by clicking on this link, I do not get any commission. You also do not get extra discount if you tell them you this on kopiandproperty.my too. Anyway, just 150km away from Kuala Lumpur… Yes, I visit Melaka at least once per year and if we count just these past 7 years, then I am in Melaka on average 3 times per year. Yes, I make it a point to visit a few different places everytime I am here and I DO NOT repeat the same places over and over. Happy visiting Melaka again yeah.
