Escape Cameron Highlands theme park. Definitely a wow.
On a yearly basis, I go up to Cameron Highlands maybe 3 times? Somehow when I arrive, I feel so relaxed. There’s no huge shopping, merely move from one stall to the next, admiring all the fresh vegetables. Then, drop by the Palas centre for a cup of hot Boh tea. The cafe is very nice too fyi.
At night, probably a steamboat and the next day, just wake up early and feel the cool temperature. Ah, nice right? Plus the accommodations there remains affordable too. Okay, cannot really do this at the moment due to Covid-19 but I still have hopes that I can do it before end of 2021. Let’s see if I am right.
Now for another additional thing one could do in 2023 in Cameron Highlands.
Article in nst.com.my Phase One of Sim Leisure Group’s new theme park called Escape Cameron Highlands will cost about RM15 million, with the targeted opening in the first quarter of 2023. Sim Leisure group founder and chief executive officer Sim Choo Kheng said that the development of subsequent phases will take up to 10 years and will cost above RM100 million.
He shared, “Some of you may be wondering why the amount is smaller compared to other mega theme park’s projects that cost billions, but bear in mind that Escape is a low-tech, high fun genre theme park. We have minimalist approaches, we used a lot of creativity, thus know how to build it with a very minimal budget.” Do read the full article here: Article in nst.com.my
Perhaps need to also think about the driving part
It’s quite jammed in Cameron Highlands during peak periods such as school holidays or long weekends. I am not sure what could be done to change this but something has to be done. Else, if I am looking for a break and then I realise I need to face a few hours jam in Cameron Highlands, I may change my decision to go elsewhere. In the mean time stay home, stay safe and see you in Cameron Highlands yeah. Yes, I have a small unit in Cameron Highlands which I hope to visit soon.
