Cyberjaya for home is a good choice, I believe.

Sejati Residences Cyberjaya
Nope, I do not currently stay in Cyberjaya. I also do not own any property in Cyberjaya or Putrajaya. I also do not current work within Cyberjaya. Then, why am I promoting Cyberjaya as a good place for home? I think it’s a simple question with a simple answer. If I personally like a place and I think there are people who may also love those few reasons that I love, then Cyberjaya is definitely a potential choice. The below are my personal five reasons. If you are currently a resident there and you have even more to share, please do comment. I think it’s about time we learn a little more about why Cyberjaya for a home
Connecting everywhere (not just KL city centre) is easy. Compared to some newer areas which are only in the development today, Cyberjaya is already considered well connected. Here are all the connections into and out of Cyberjaya.

  • Lebuhraya Damansara- Puchong (LDP)
  • North – South Central Link (ELITE Highway)
  • South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE)
  • Kajang – Puchong, off the KL – Seremban Highway (SILK)
  • MEX Highway (KL – Putrajaya Dedicated Highway)

dpluzeEnough choices for malls. Not many would agree that it’s more happening in Cyberjaya than PJ, KL city centre or even Damansara. This is especially when we reach the evening time. They are right. Cyberjaya is quieter comparatively. There’s not too many cars, not too much jams and it’s great for a small family to have dinner without having to circle too long for a car park. However, where malls are concerned, choices are not limited. There’s D’Pulze within Cyberjaya, Alamanda in Putrajaya and even IOI City Mall within 15 minutes. Other upcoming malls include Radius @ Cyberjaya, Vita Cyberjaya, Galleria Cyberjaya, Skypark Cyberjaya, Tamarind Square and Gem in Mall.
Job opportunities. Nope, it is not a must to find a job within Cyberjaya. However, it would not be a clever decision to buy at an area where there are not many job opportunities, whether within the area or nearby. Without employment opportunities, it is harder to make our “property buy” into a “property investment”. One day when we want to upgrade, it would be much easier to sell or rent out our unit too. There is an estimated 800 companies with 35,000 knowledge workers in Cyberjaya and this helped the daytime population to reach 80,000.
Next to KLIA and KLIA2 and of course, Aeropolis. Many have asked me about how successful this Aeropolis would become. I only want to say one thing. When the developer together with the government cooperates and puts their energy into the same project, the chances for it to be successful has been far greater than when there are no such plans. I do hope everyone remembered how KLIA was criticised by some parties as being too extravagant when it was first mooted and that Subang Airport could have been expanded instead? I prefer to wish for Aeropolis KLIA to be successful, not just for Cyberjaya but also for the Malaysian economy.
Future proof? Yes, there will be a stop in Putrajaya for the upcoming High Speed Rail between KL-Singapore. MRT Line 2 is also called SSP which will connect a faraway place called Sungai Buloh to Serdang to Putrajaya too. Cyberjaya will always be next to Putrajaya and Putrajaya will be the government administrative centre for a long time to come. With the land prices growing every higher, rest assured that government will be looking to monetise and maximise their lands in the city centre. Guess where they would move the civil servants to?
Actually, there are many more reasons. Just google for “why invest in Cyberjaya’ and you would get what I mean. For me, these 5 is enough for me. Whether it’s the best choice remains debatable but Cyberjaya properties’ future, whether today and for the foreseeable future should be bright. In fact, Ms. Olivia Lim, the Chief Executive Officer for 88home.co said that from her interactions with the Chinese (China) investors, Cyberjaya is one of those choices they are open to buy. This is especially because they feel comfortable when they read the story for Cyberjaya thus far. In fact 88home.co has generated over 20,000 leads / inquiries for Sejati Residences on a monthly basis. Olivia also  shared that many Chinese investors continue to warm up to real estate Malaysia. Happy deciding.
