- The purchase brought their total landholdings on the island to more than 1,300 acres.
- The couple’s presence in Kauai has frustrated some residents in years past.

How big is 1,300 acres in Kauai?
Total size of Kauai is … 1,430 km². In acres, that is 353,361 acres. So, 1,300 acres divided by 353,361 acres meant that Mark and Priscilla owns approximately 0.37% of the whole Kauai. Certainly a small number but for both Mark and Priscilla, 1300 acres meant that they have a size equivalent to 1,300 football fields or 20,800 tennis courts. Actually, more than enough to do virtually anything they needed to.
Why do we need to know this?
When we could start a company which is used by everyone world wide, we would be rich enough to buy well, anything. We also know that it’s possible to visit Kauai when travelling is allowed again. It’s within Hawaii by the way. We also know that some times, buying ever more real estate does not necessary we have a serious plan for it or wishing to develop it to earn more money. Sometimes, people buy the land because they could afford to buy and keep the land until they decide what they wanted to do with the land.
