Press Release: PropertyGuru Group, Asia’s leading property technology company, announced the promotion of Genevieve Godwin as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), with employee learning and development as key focuses in her new role moving forward.
Best known for bringing PropertyGuru’s culture of learning to life, Godwin previously served as the Group’s Human Resources Director, bolstering talent growth and development across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam for more than 1,200 employees over the past two years.
Under her leadership, improvements in the Group’s HR-tech infrastructure have led to enhanced employee experiences. Her work to improve overall recognition, as well as company benefit programmes, have also fostered a more inclusive and supportive working environment for employees.

Her focus on learning and development will be increasingly invaluable as we continue to hire, engage, develop, and retain a diverse team as a Southeast Asian technology leader,” said Hari V. New programmes introduced include on-the-job development, online learning libraries and focused in-person development, which have seen strong adoption within the Group.
A heightened focus on people managers has also served to sharpen the skills of dozens of leaders through blended leadership development programs, purpose-built for PropertyGuru. In addition to this, Genevieve participated in post-merger integration activities with Batdongsan.com.vn, the Group’s business in Vietnam, which will continue through 2020.
Moving forward, she will work with senior management and the board of directors to further develop a holistic approach to talent, encompassing the launch of the PropertyGuru employee value proposition and a focus on integrated talent development across the Group.
