We still could not travel between states currently. I think this is a good move. Some states remain more dangerous than others. However, perhaps having the WHOLE state under CMCO is also not that clever. We are after all having MySejahtera enforced to everyone, right? We should be able to know where would be the dangerous, less dangerous and even not dangerous, right?
Businesses may have more good news as Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that the government will implement a more targeted approach to control COVID-19 infectivity based on data and science. In other words, there should not be a need to enforce the movement control order any more.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says that instead of enforcing MCO nationwide or on a state, it could be done based on affected localities or specific clusters instead. He said, “We will also ensure that compliance of standard operating procedures and tighter enforcement is in place to control infectivity of Covid-19, in line with the Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance 2021.”
More good news for the manufacturing companies include additional tax rebates and additional tax cuts for employers who send their workers for COVID-19 screening. He says that allocation for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme will be increased from RM3bil to RM5bil so that the herd immunity target can be achieved by December 2021 versus first quarter of 2022. I think we can wait for the details soon. After all, the announcement by the PM should mean that something is now being planned for deployment.
