Interstate Travel news. 500 cars asked to turn back! What were all these people thinking?

Interstate travel is NOT permitted. Inter-district travel is also NOT permitted. Okay, unless there are official reasons and one has approvals from the authorities. Well, I read this news and I am like, ‘what were all these people thinking?’ There were OVER 500 cars caught trying to go into Kelantan and they were all without the necessary travelling permits. They were asked to turn back to their original destination. I do hope all of them are back to where they came from and did not try some other ways to sneak into Kelantan.

Article in themalaysianreserve.com Kelantan police chief Datuk Shafien Mamat said that more than 500 vehicles attempting to enter the state without interstate travel permit were ordered to turn back yesterday. This number was recorded between 12 am and 5 pm yesterday, at the three main entry points to the state, namely, Gua Musang, Pasir Puteh and Jeli.

Besides not having interstate permit letter, Shafien said there were also a handful of road users who only produced the permit without verification of any police station. He said, “These people were unlucky as the police were able to detect the tactic and they were ordered to turn back.” Do read the article in full here. Article in themalaysianreserve.com

We are in EMERGENCY, remember?

Dear all, we are in COVID-19 ’emergency’ currently. STAY HOME unless it’s truly necessary to go out. Driving is really not needed unless one has no choice. Remember there’s online order and someone could deliver to your home? By the way, just travelling within the district is already big enough yeah. Lots of good food, just that one could not sit down and dine. Please help Malaysia and Malaysians who wants to break the chain of infection soonest possible. Thank you for your effort and please stop giving lame excuses.
