I think Perth is becoming very popular for Malaysians. Malindo will be starting its KL – Perth route in November. Not only that, there would be a total of 11 weekly flights! In other words, more than 1 flight per day on average. It has just received the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia’s (CASA) nod to fly from Kuala Lumpur to Perth. This would be its eighth country under the airline’s international route network. Promotional fares start from just RM599 for economy class and RM1,499 for business class one-way and since they are not considered a budget airline, the ticket comes with free baggage allowance, in-flight entertainment, a meal and light refreshments.
It will operate the flight with the narrow-body Boeing 737-900ER aircraft with a seat capacity of 180, with 12 business class and 168 economy class seats. Flight will take 5 hours and 50 minutes. Malindo hopes to provide its travellers with an extensive range of destinations using Kuala Lumpur as a regional hub. I like this statement. It meant more tourists are also coming into Kuala Lumpur as well. Ticket sales would however start only when they have received approval from Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) Malaysia.
I have never been to other cities in Australia other than Perth. I think it’s worth a visit as it’s so clean and there are so many attractions there. My personal views? Here: Perth – City with parks or actually parks with a city I have been on Malindo air a few times. I think they are okay. The fares are definitely attractive when compared to the usual air-fares of other airlines. Oh yeah, if you think of Perth as your potential property investment destination, do get to know a bit more. Up in Sydney and Melbourne, down for Perth I would definitely hope they increase the frequency in the near future and also wish for more airlines to use Kuala Lumpur as a regional hub. Happy visiting Perth.
