I think the world prefers that every country respects one another and does not go and do something which jeopardises the peace between them and more countries surrounding them. Recently, there was this deadly clash between the troops of China and India in June. (click here to read details) and there were deaths. There were no exchange of gun fires and the fight used stones and bamboo poles it seems.

A few days ago, this confrontation has happened again. Click here to read the latest news. Let’s hope everything will cool down and both sides will do the talking instead of the fighting. Both are Asian nations and both are the top 2 most populated nations. China is currently the second largest economy while India, based on estimation will be number 5 largest economy as early as 2023. Do we want to know where is this dispute? Not going into some historical lessons but perhaps some photos of the place where the disputes happen? It’s a lake by the name of Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake. It is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. It is 134 km long and extends from Ladakh, India to the Tibetan Autonomous Region, China. Approximately 60% of the length of the lake lies within the Tibetan Autonomous Region. (source: Wiki)
Images below are images of Pangong Tso lake. Source is indicated too. Please do visit those pages for even more awesome images yeah.
If only this is a place which is jointly promoted by both countries, then it would be such a wow. I know, just a wish perhaps. Well, visits are actually possible but of course there’s that possibility of clashes plus currently, India is still trying to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on numbers, it will take a little more time. Vaccines would definitely help tremendously and India actually have plans for it. Their very own vaccine may be ready by year end.
