National Institute of Valuation (INSPEN) is the training and research Institute of the Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH), Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF). INSPEN is the host of International Real Estate Research Symposium (IRERS). IRERS is a real estate research forum held in collaboration with several international universities and property organisations. IRERS 2002 is the Malaysia’s first international symposium on real estate research. IRERS was conceived out the awareness that the real estate industry must embrace research and development (R&D) as a way forward. IRERS has never been intended to replace, but rather, to complement similar efforts already in place in the Asia-Pacific region.
INSPEN is hosting the 9th International Real Estate Research Symposium (IRERS). The main objective of this symposium is to provide a platform for discussion and exchange of ideas on the changing faces of today’s real estate market dynamic. The symposium will provide an excellent opportunity for global networking, discussions and exchange of information across a broad spectrum of issues related to real estate and allied subject. It will bring together experts, practitioners, policymakers, academics and institutions on an international level to focus on the emerging issues of real estate and outline appropriate principles, procedures and tools to face the challenge of global change.
