MM2H – Shopping and Education

MM2H is a Malaysian government programme for foreigners to make Malaysia their second home. I am supportive of this idea. Main reason is because I really do feel Malaysia has what it takes for them to make it their second home or even retirement home. For those coming from ‘winter’ countries, Malaysia is summer the whole day though rains do come quite often except during dry seasons.
Malaysia is also known as a shopping haven. CNN recently recognised it as top 4 in the world! In KL, a shopping centre I love the most is One Utama. To minimise the need to take 30 minutes to park your car, do go there earlier. 🙂   It is huge enough that I do not get tired as I could never finish the whole store everytime I am there for half a day. Another of my favourite is MidValley but the parking may take a very long time.  If you want a smaller family shopping centre, why not Subang Parade?
Malaysia is also a higher education hub for international students. In 2011, Malaysia’s HEIs (i.e. public universities, private higher educational institutions, polytechnics and community colleges) was the choice of more than 93,000 international students from more than 100 countries. Famous universities have also set up their overseas campus here. Nottingham University, Newcastle University. University of Reading, University of Southampton and so many more. From rankings, these are typically ranked top 1% in the world.
Besides these two, properties are still very affordable when compared to even regional countries. Main property destinations? Penang, KL, Iskandar and even Kuching or KK. Ok, enough for this time. Will write more. To know more about MM2H, feel free to visit:  http://www.mm2h.gov.my/
