I am 60 years away from becoming a 100-year old man. Haha. However, it does not mean that I should not celebrate something of significance right? Yesterday, I managed to get myself one set of commemorative coins issued by Bank Negara Malaysia. (BNM). Do refer to the image for my own set. I would not say that the crowd was huge but when I was on the way out after buying the set, there were a few minor ‘debates’ between some interested buyers and BNM’s officials on their eligibility to buy. Well, if they had arrived on time, they would have been given the ballot number and be eligible to buy. Simple rules. Actually, it’s pretty nice and this is the first time that I have invested in such a set. Please do not ask me how much it will become next year. Perhaps when my daughter sells it 10 years later, it may give her a nice family dinner? Haha. Inflation will also play a part mah. Let’s look at BNM’s own press release as below:
