Cyberjaya has nothing. No one is staying there. No one is there during the weekends. People are there because they needed to work, that’s why they are there. I do not wish to debate on all these statements which may be true or may start to be false. However, there’s another piece of good news. Another choice. DPulze shopping mall. Not a regional mall but it is a mall with the following brands and retailers: TGV, Jaya Grocer, FOS, Celebrity Fitness, MPH, Yamaha, U Bowl, Song Box, Molly Fantasy, Tune Hotels and Regus. Most importantly, it is in final stages of completion and is already 80% tenanted.
There are also retailers in the mall as follows: Ace Hardware, Kitchen Shop by Katrin BJ, Akemi Uchi, Royal Sporting House, Adidas, Plan B by the Big Group, City Chain, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, The Loaf, Rakuzen, Sushi Zanmai, Ole Ole Bali, Homst and Thai Odyssey. The mall also has a 200-room hotel and is said to be the only limited service hotel in Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Dengkil and Sepang areas. If you intend to start a company and needs an office address, Regus Serviced Offices, comprising more than 120 workstations will be opened too. This will then be followed by a serviced residence operated by The Ascott Ltd called Citadines.
According to a report, there are another 11,000 residence units to be completed in Cyberjaya within the next 2 ytears and over 6 years, there is another RM14 billion worth of developments! It has been quite some time that I did not drive to Cyberjaya just for the sake of driving around and perhaps have a lunch there during the weekends. I think I will do it when DPulze opens. Must support all these new malls. To me, the more malls, the merrier. I hate everyone going to the same mall making the car parks full and you have to drive around for 1 hour just find a car park. Thus, I always skip such malls, no matter how amazing they may be, unless I happen to be there very very very early in the morning.
