MRT 3 aka Circle line has been approved

I am a supporter of the MRT 3 aka Circle Line. Please feel free to say anything you like to say yeah and take the right actions. Based on the MRT Lines overall plan, this Circle Line will complete the overall Klang Valley transportation. Without this, then there are MANY inconveniences which people can use and say they don’t want to use the public transport. So, for the ones who support the line like me, it’s now announced that the suspension of MRT 3 is now lifted. Do read about the latest announcement here.

Article in nst.com.my Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, “The government has decided to approved the implementation of the MRT3 project to complete the existing public transportation infrastructures in the Klang Valley by providing integrated transportation system that is affordable for the people.”

He said, “The implementation of this project will drive the country’s economic growth and development, in line with the objective of the government to empower the business sector as well as creating 600,000 jobs this year.”

Preliminary plan for the MRT3 will include 30 stations, where 10 of them are MRT interchange stations, light rail transit (LRT) and KTM Komuter lines. Please do read the news article in full here: Article in nst.com.my

Construction has yet to start, it’s a fact

To be very direct, this MRT 3 aka Circle Line has been approved by the current government and announced by the current Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri. As can be seen over the past few years, things can change unless of course the construction is already halfway for example. Approved routes can also be changed and then changed back for example. Approved stations can be changed for example. Approved projects can also be suspended.

For now, I think the real estate industry will welcome this project because the construction of the project will bring a lot of opportunities. As usual, the economic multiplier will be many times especially if the project is being constructed by a Malaysian company. Yea, probably some foreign labour may be needed but it’s a very small issue versus the benefits to be gained.

Please do not simply buy any property which says it’s nearby any MRT 3 station yeah. The price per sq ft should make sense yeah. If we pay crazy price, then we have to find someone willing to pay crazier price to buy in the future.
