Opportunities come only to those who are ready. Buying properties should not happen suddenly, actually. Understand what’s happening and get to know what are the choices available. These are pre-requisites even before we start to decide whether to buy or not to buy. If buy, then what to buy, where to buy and perhaps even should I buy next to MRT since this is a hot topic today? Well, LRTs are full to the brim during office hours but MRTs are not yet popular. So, perhaps we should buy next to LRTs then and not MRTs? I will share my thoughts on “Reasons Why MRT Should Affect Your Property Buying Decisions” in iProperty.com’s Home & Property Fair in Sunway Pyramid on 15th April 2018.Time is 4pm – 445pm. Wiley, MRT Line 3 was supposed to have been completed in 2027 but at the end of 2017, it was announced that it will be completed by end 2025. Based on time lines, it was supposed to have start around 2020. In other words, there are still quite a lot of time for the government to reconsider in the near future, once they have a better picture of the financial situation of the country. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Corporation chief executive officer Datuk Shahril Mokhtar has backed the government over its decision to shelve a third line for the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit. This was what the MRT CEO said,
“We abide by the government’s decision but we also acknowledge that the MRT Line 3 is critical to close all the loops.” However, I disagree with buying a property solely because of MRT station. It must have also included a few other key reasons as well. Happy investing.
