Article in malaymail.com Construction of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line has achieved more than 70 per cent project completion following the success of underpass tunnel breakthrough below the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway near Sungai Besi.

MRT Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) SSP Line project director, Datuk Amiruddin Ma’aris, said of the breakthrough, “The success of the V204 underpass construction shows the strong commitment of MRT Corp as project owner, the construction team from MMC Gamuda KVMRT (PDP SSP) Sdn Bhd as the turnkey contractor and WCT Bhd as the work package contractor to deliver the project according to schedule.” Both tunnels have a diameter of 5.8m and are 60m in length, and are located between the Taman Naga Emas and Sungai Besi stations. Perhaps kopiandproperty.my should just invite a group of readers to have breakfast in Sungai Buloh and then board the train at 10am, visit a couple of places (take lots of photos and post online), have lunch (at some nice place within walking distance from a MRT station) and then a final coffee break (inside some cafes along the line) before arriving back in Sungai Buloh for a post-mortem and dinner?! Haha.

This article will be the reminder for me to plan something like that. 15 months is really not that far back. I await excitedly for it. As for the question of whether I would be taking it more often when it’s completed, the answer remains a no. I still prefer to drive. Haha. However, 2 times per week is possible. We shall see. What about some readers? Are you already thinking of moving to some places along the line? Happy anticipating.
